First off we did a balloon release on Isaac's birthday for my due date buddy group while pregnant with him. Here is some information on that: *Balloon release for our due date buddy. Baby Emily Paige*
Baby Emily graced the Earth for 10 short days. She was born in May of 2010 after a routine pregnancy. Aside from a small heart murmur, which the doctors said was common, she seemed perfectly healthy. When she was 2 days old, while checking on the murmur, doctors found that she had a serious heart condition called Hypo Plastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). This occurs when the left side of a baby's heart stops growing some time between 7 and 12 weeks gestation. Though measures were taken to save her life, including consideration of a heart transplant or other surgery, her heart just wasn't strong enough to hold on.
Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) affect 1 in 100 babies.
HLHS affects 1 in 6,000 babies.
Congenital heart defects are the Number 1 cause of birth defect related deaths.
This year almost 40,000 babies will be born with a congenital heart defect in the US. 4,000 of them will not live to see their first birthday
It was a beautiful thing to do and I think we will do it every year to remember Miss Emily Paige.
Isaac enjoyed his party and got a bunch of wonderful gifts and even ate his egg-free cake! Here are some pictures of him :)

Sharing a Cute Picture!!
Here is Isaac standing on his tippy toes trying to reach the keys of the piano in our living room. This was my grandmother's piano and the very one I learned to play on growing up.

Ohio trip and Easter!
We took a long road trip to Ohio to see my grandmother for her birthday and Easter. Isaac did very well on the nine hour car ride. We had such a great time visiting and going to museums and lots of other neat things. While there we also participated in The Great Cloth Diaper Change 2011 at a greenhouse in Lebannon. Isaac loved getting his Easter basket and opening up the little eggs to see what was inside! He also broke in two more teeth while on this trip and never fussed a bit. ( I think his amber necklace is working :)

New to blogging.
I have been wanting to do this ever since I got pregnant and now Isaac is almost four months old! I guess I procrastinate! I'm not going to write much today, just trying to get the hang of things on here. Isaac is asleep in his swing right now. His Woombie just came in today and he loves it. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a lifesaver :)
